Zeta Tau Alpha Alumnae of Washington, D.C.
|
"As a recent graduate moving to the DC to begin my teaching career, I was eager to get involved with the DC Zeta Alumnae Chapter. I was always actively involved in my collegiate chapter and was looking forward to forming new friendships with other Zetas in the area. I am often exhausted after a long school day (first graders can wear you out!), however when I can make time to join the DC Zetas I always leave remembering why I became a part of Zeta Tau Alpha. We are women of different ages, different chapters and at different stages of life, but we come together to talk and laugh over unspoken bonds... never forgetting that love is 'the greatest of all things'." ~Jillian Fleury, Eta Kappa, University of Central Florida |
"My mother was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha and was active at both the local and national levels. From an early age I saw how much she enjoyed it and wanted to be part of such a wonderful organization. I was fortunate to join the Alpha Theta chapter at Purdue University and thoroughly enjoyed my time there. Since then I have been active in the Washington, DC alumnae and nationally. The alumnae chapter continues to be a vibrant organization with a variety of members. Some are here only briefly, and some have been here for years, but we are all sisters together. Through ZTA I have made friends across the country and enjoy keeping up with them, whether regularly at local events, through cards at Christmas, or once every two years at Convention." ~Bobby Turnbull, Alpha Theta, Purdue University

"One of the first things I looked for after I graduated from Washington College in 2003 was a local ZTA alumnae chapter. ZTA was such a huge part of my life while I was at college, I knew I didn't want it to end there. I joined the DC Zetas shortly after I moved to the city in 2006. I always look forward to our monthly gatherings and love meeting new sisters from all over the country." ~Jennie Corwell, Gamma Beta, Washington College |
